Betty Ross used to date the scientist behind her back, which he disapproved of. Betty was present during Banner's initial transformation into the Hulk. Her relationship with her father rifted when General Ross made it his life goal to hunt and subdue the Hulk and to turn him into a weapon. She was killed and later resurrected by A.I.M. as the Red She-Hulk.
